What Interkey delivers on Huawei infrastructure
Huawei equipment is present across a large share of Saudi network infrastructure. Buying it and running it well are different problems, and the second is where a local integrator earns its place. Interkey’s work on Huawei platforms is network engineering: designing how the equipment fits an existing topology, deploying it without disrupting live services, and supporting it afterwards with engineers in the same time zone as the network.
That work draws on capability Interkey has built over more than 25 years in Saudi telecommunications: network design and optimisation, telecom infrastructure integration, and 5G product distribution. Interkey has been distributing 5G products in the Kingdom and doing the engineering around them, which is a different relationship with the technology than reselling it.
Typical engagements involve connectivity and 5G infrastructure for operators and large enterprises: extending coverage, adding capacity where traffic has outgrown the original design, and integrating new equipment with what is already installed, usually a mixed estate accumulated over many years rather than a clean single-vendor build. Interkey operates deep packet inspection inside operator networks, so the same organisation that helps build the transport layer also builds the software that classifies what crosses it. For an operator, that means one supplier who can discuss the radio and transport layer, the traffic intelligence running over it, and the customer premises equipment at the end of it, without three separate vendors pointing at each other.

Does Interkey resell Huawei equipment or integrate it?
The value is in the integration: network design, deployment into a live estate, and ongoing support from Riyadh. Interkey has also distributed 5G products in the Kingdom. Which parts apply to a given project depends on what you are building, worth establishing at the outset.
Can Interkey support a mixed-vendor network?
Yes, and in practice that is the normal case. Saudi networks are rarely single-vendor; they accumulate equipment over many years. Integration work is mostly about making new equipment coexist with what is already installed.
Is support provided locally?
Yes. Interkey has operated from Riyadh since 1999, with engineering and support in the same time zone and working week as the networks it supports, in Arabic and English.
